TGIF! I’m finally done!

Done! After completing the background and flowers I hit a wall. I just didn't want to paint anymore. With some mental planning I started with step one; the green jug. Step two was the small pitcher, step three was the fruit and veg and so on. What was supposed to take me two days turned into four. I will take a break and work on a portrait of my husband. Painting a different subject helps refresh me for the next still life work. I have to crank out 4-5 new still life paintings before the 2nd week in March. I will be showing about 8 works in the Affordable Art Fair at Battersea Park-London again this year!

  1. What a lovely outcome. Those colours really work. Here’s to your painterly replenishment. I’m sure the portrait pleasure will help and you will return to your challenge with freshness and new energies. Good luck!
